7th Tradition & Group Treasurer Report
Our Treasurer reports that our net income from 7th Tradition Donations for the month is ($2,996.08). We would like to thank each of our members for their generosity!

Steering Committee Group Guidelines (formerly Bylaws)
We took a group conscience and decided to review the proposed Group Guidelines line by line. We will be picking up on Tradition 6 at our next meeting. Please click the link to review the proposed changes.

Secretary Announcements
CHANGE MADE IN SECRETARY’S REPORT
The Steering Committee voted to approve that the following be added to the Secretary’s Report: “We have a suggested donation of $2 per person. If you have a little more, that would be great. If you don’t have anything, we’re just glad you’re here.”
SPECIAL SPEAKER MEETING
Tracy has generously offered to organize a special speaker meeting following SVFC’s 2024 Chili Cook-off. This Speaker Meeting will take place upstairs on October 19th from 3- 4pm.
SECRETARY WORKSHOP
Our quarterly Secretary Workshop will take place on October 13th from 3 – 4pm. All new meeting secretaries are encouraged to attend.
ZEN MEDITATION WORKSHOP
Our monthly Zen Meditation Workshop for October may be rescheduled due to our annual Chili Cook-off. If it is rescheduled, an announcement will be sent out with the new date/time.

2024 CHILI COOK-OFF
SVFC’s annual Chili Cook-off is scheduled for October 19th from 11am – 3pm. In addition to the chili cook-off, there will be a bake sale, opportunity raffle, kids activities, and a silent auction. See our Flyer for more details.
