7th Tradition & Group Treasurer Report
Our Treasurer reports that our net income from 7th Tradition Donations for the month is $16,328.91. The high net income for July 2026 is a one-time revenue event due the timing of transaction entries. Thank you for your generosity and support!

The annual Chili Cookoff has a firm date of October 17, 2026, 12PM – 3PM. Join us for fun, fellowship, and fabulous food!
The membership drive is still in full swing, and the Membership Committee is looking for volunteers to assist in sharing the message about joining. The thermometer in the upstairs kitchen has been updated to reflect the current membership count of 45.
The two-month requirement for flooring in Suite 101 has been met, and updated quotes for the buildout are being requested.
The snack bar buildout and budget have been approved, with construction to start in late August.
Secretary Announcements
AA Big Books found in the shelving units on the upper and lower floors are for use during meetings and are NOT to be given to those needing a personal copy of the book. Big Books are available for purchase, at cost, and can be found in the locked display cabinet on the lower floor. The books in the locked display cabinet are NOT to be given away and must have the cost collected before distribution. The Steering Committee passed a motion to have permanent signs produced to remind visitors that books are for on-site use only.
The other recurring issue is the numerous attendees bringing dogs into meetings. ONLY TRAINED SERVICE ANIMALS ARE ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES, and this DOES NOT include “emotional support animals.” Bringing untrained companion animals that are not performing a vital service opens the Board up to liability and jeopardizes our lease. We count on meeting secretaries and other attendees to hold people accountable and we cannot allow any exceptions to this rule. We are legally allowed to ask the following questions: Is this a service animal? And what task are they trained to perform? If it is not a service animal, then it needs to leave the meeting. If the owner refuses to leave, then a disciplinary report should be filed so appropriate disciplinary action can be taken.
